Barcelona to Eurocamp

Today did not get the "fab day" memo.
Final morning in the apartment - another round of washing/fridge clearout/repacking bags and the car.
More chocolate cilante and pastries (apparently Mia-Rose is a croissant girl) in the cafe before heading to the English bookshop a short walk away to pick up some new reading for the next part of our trip and a puzzle to add to Max's Trunki toy collection.
Clever car manoeuvring again by Lewis to get us out of central town and on the road. 1 hour 20 for the journey, timed with her lunchtime nap, which worked perfectly thank goodness as he crashed out as well. Although I always panic going through the tolls that one of them will wake up and it'll be game over!
Weather turned from clouds, to rain, to downpour to thunder and lightning very quickly. It was torrential. On arrival Lewis got soaked trying to check us in, and unpacking bags was no small feat. We realised the cabin we booked was going to be too small for us - she's got so used to roaming around and we wanted somewhere more comfortable to sit on an evening. So we didn't fully unpack and managed to get ourselves into the new place, once we had done a supermarket shop and fed/entertained two small people in an enclosed space while it poured outside for about 3 hours. It was hard work. Eventually we got there, made a start on the bags but we're desperate for a sit down, a drink and some peace and quiet. It's 9pm as I write and Max has already come to the door of his room twice to say he has "just one more job to do". Yes you do, and that's go to sleep!!!
